Welcome to the Hockley Winter Foursomes! Established in 1959, this tournament is one of Hampshire's longest-standing open winter competitions. With Hockley being situated on downland chalk, it offers a fantastic opportunity to compete during the winter season. As this is played in the winter, it is expected some games may be played in less favourable weather. 

This competition is open to both men and women.

The dates for the rounds are listed below, along with alternate dates in case of inclement weather. As this is played in the winter, it is expected that some games may be played in less favourable weather. It will be to the club's discretion whether a round is postponed.  Please note that all rounds must be paid for on the specified dates. If you are unable to attend after the draw has commenced, you will need to withdraw from the competition.

All players must have a WHS handicap and are required to have completed 162 holes of golf, of which at least 54 must be in competitive play, within the 12 months leading up to the date of the round. Failure to meet these criteria will result in withdrawal from the competition.

In the event we go over the maximum allowance for pairs (64 pairs), entries will go to a ballot with the highest combined handicap being balloted out. 

Entry fees are - £50 for Member/Member, £85 for Member/Guest, £120 Guest/Guest. Entries are not complete until payment has been made. 

Entries close on Sunday 19th October - the draw will take place the following day and sent to players.
