Juniors

Welcome to Hockley Golf Club, I am the Junior Organiser here at Hockley.  

As a Club, we welcome players of all ability's with progression routes available for beginners through to experienced players who are wanting to test themselves on our wonderful downland course.  We have links to local colleges for those who wish to study golf and offer a great pathway for any junior that wishes to see how far they can take the game of golf at their own pace. 

We currently support a great junior team who represent the Club throughout our packed calendar year, playing in competitions and friendly matches supported by weekly practice sessions with our junior team.  In 2024, we have home and away matches booked with Alresford, South Winchester, Royal Winchester, Bramshaw and Rowlands Castle as well competing in the Hampshire Green Jackets, which we won in 2021 and represented Hampshire at Woodhall Spa.

Junior Captain

We have a growing Juniors section, this year captained by Joe Riddell.

In 2021, our Hockley Team won the Hampshire Green Jackets competition and went on to represent the County at the England Golf Junior Club Championships. At Hockley, we think golf is a terrific family game so we are always keen to find ways to get youngsters enjoying the sport.
