How We Play Golf at Hockley

We urge everyone who plays golf at Hockley to follow a few simple rules which we believe represent the spirit of the game:

• Act with integrity - by following the Rules, applying all penalties, and being honest in all aspects of play.
• Show consideration for others - consider the safety of others, avoid distracting the play of other golfers, be aware of golfers nearby on other holes.
• Avoid unnecessary time-wasting - observe the 3-minute rule for lost balls, play ready golf when appropriate, call through groups if you lose your place on the course.
• Take good care of the course - replace divots, rake bunkers, repair pitch-marks, and don't cause unnecessary damage.
